Indoor Air Quality

The average adult breathes 11,000 liters of air per day. LMS can help ensure that indoor air is clean and healthy. LMS provides a suite of integrated and advanced solutions to help deliver safer, healthier, more productive indoor air quality while promoting energy efficiency.

Bi-polar ionization is a proven technology that provides a solution to reduce mold, VOCs, bacteria, viruses, dust particles, and odors. LMS has provided healthy environments – especially during the pandemic – for several buildings in Las Vegas that are now open and offering clean, healthy spaces. This system creates positive and negative ions to actively clean the air as it passes through the building’s systems, killing bacteria and viruses and effectively reducing pathogens, including SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19. About Indoor Air Pollution and Health
Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) refers to the air quality within and around buildings and structures, especially related to the health and comfort of building occupants. Health effects from indoor air pollutants may be experienced soon after exposure or, possibly, years later.

Sometimes, treatment is simply eliminating exposure to the source of the pollution, if it can be identified. While pollutants commonly found in indoor air can cause many harmful effects, there is considerable uncertainty about what concentrations or periods of exposure produce specific health problems. Further research is needed to understand which health effects occur after exposure to the average pollutant concentrations.

Primary Causes of Indoor Air Problems
Indoor pollution sources that release gases or particles into the air are the primary cause of indoor air quality problems. Inadequate ventilation and lack of outdoor air can increase indoor pollutant levels. High temperature and humidity levels can also increase concentrations of some pollutants.

There are many solutions to promote clean air. Ventilation devices, such as outdoor-vented fans, intermittently remove air from a single space. Air handling systems use fans and ductwork to continuously remove indoor air and distribute filtered and conditioned outdoor air to strategic points throughout the building. Air purifications systems have the capability to produce naturally-pristine environments. LMS’s integrated advanced solutions can improve air quality and help you and your occupants breathe with peace of mind.
